H~ photo shoot

I shot family photos for this wonderful family last fall and they were a blast so I was naturally thrilled when I was asked to take photos of the kids this yr! They have 3 beautiful girls ( poor dad right ). The youngest is a little pistol! She is this petite little thing with this big booming voice, she is seriously adorable! She is the ham of the family and runs the show. The older two have great personalities and are super cooperative..... with me anyways lol. It was pretty cold once the sun set but they were troopers!

I haven't updated in a little while, it's been hectic with the holidays and travel. Thanksgiving has passed and I have so much to be thankful for! I am especially thankful I get the privilege of shooting this beautiful young ladies photos for all her special events. Yesterday we did some for fun! She is gorgeous and soooo photogenic! Keep checking back your sure to see much much more of her!

The woes of pet owners

We have a beautiful yellow lab named Nelly. She is the best dog we have ever had. She is calm and lets the kids climb all over her. She has had a clean bill of health for her whole 3 yrs of life. Well yesterday she came downstairs limping. I did not think to much of it considering she has limped before and was better in a couple of days. Later in the day she peed in the house. Now if you remember I said she was the best dog I ever had so peeing in the house is out of the norm for her. She did it twice. So off to the vet we went this am, with my fresh collect urine sample on hand lol. They want to do a battery of test, I just want to keep the bill down. We opt to give her a urinalysis, amoxi for her presumed UTI and an anti-inflammatory for her leg. Total for the bill........$144 @@. So I leave the vet thinking I could have asked for the prescription and went to target and purchased their generic brand for probably 10 bucks and it would have saved me 50 double @@. Needless to say we love our dog and we hope to nurse her back to health. Christmas is coming and if this keeps up we'll have to tie a red bow around Nelly's neck and tell the kids Merry Christmas!!

B- Family

What a beautiful family I had today! They had 3 lovely children who were as sweet and cooperative as could be. It was soooo chilly today and I was a bit worried that the shoot was gonna be a bust. It was about 48 degrees and very windy! Their youngest daughter bless her heart was so cold but she never cried or complained! Here are a few shots from their session... enjoy!

First blog!

Yah I have joined the world of bloggers! This is just a place for me to talk about random stuff, from photo shoots to bits and pieces of life. I am determined to keep this blog going if its the last thing I do! 

So here we go blog day #1. Seasons are changing and it is evident all around! All the stores are stocked with Christmas good and decorations. There is Christmas music and best of all the stress has hit of what to buy my 3 wonderful children. The leaves are falling and a pace that is way to fast for my liking! I have this vision of once all the leaves are gone and the trees are bare that it is nothing but grey skies until April 2009.
